“We hired Amisfield as a venue for our wedding in April 2023. It proved to be a dream wedding location for us with a fabulous mountain backdrop, and overlooking the stunning lake Hayes. Straight after the ceremony, our guests were served champagne and canapés that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. For the reception, we had a degustation experience which showcased the best of southern New Zealand cuisine, artfully prepared by Vaughan Mabee and the Amisfield kitchen team. With many of our guests attending from overseas, one of our wishes was to have our wedding provide a high quality New Zealand dining experience and Amisfield delivered. Many of our guests remarked on how divine the degustation was and the plentiful selection of beautiful wine. The outdoor dining area provided an ideal backdrop for the presentation of our wedding decor.
